XP3 Students Hangout: Reactivating the Family in Student Ministry

XP3 Students  had the privilege to test a google hangout with Michael Bayne (Student and Family Pastor at Grace Community Church in Clarksville, TN) and Andy Broad (Director of Student Ministries @ Eastern Hills Wesleyan in Buffalo, NY).  In our hangout, we discussed the realities of reactivating the family in our student ministry context.  I (Jeremy) asked both Mike and Andy a few questions:

–  When ministering to the family how does this impact your student ministry?

–  How do we engage the parents who don’t come to church or simply don’t care?  How do we reactivate them?

–  What are some fun and practical ways you are partnering with the family?

I would love for you to watch our hangout (it is around 16 minutes) and I would love to hear some ways you are attempting  to reactivate the family in your church and student ministry.  Please feel free to post your suggestions in the comment section.

**  I apologize that you have to look at Michael Bayne  on the big screen for the first few minutes.  I couldn’t figure out how to switch screens.
