Answer any questions about the curriculum and ask for prayer requests. Then read the following devotion before praying for the day:
When I read this story, I often shake my head at the Israelites and their lack of trust. God literally rained down food from heaven to provide for them in the most miraculous and convenient way. And still they worried. Would there be enough? Will we find the same thing tomorrow? Obviously, God was teaching them to be thankful for each day and to trust Him completely. But we aren’t so different from the Israelites. We forget to thank God for all he’s given us, choosing to trade our gratitude for worry about the future. But God will give us what we need. Always. So instead of worrying about tomorrow, why not choose to focus on thanking God for all the ways, big and small, that he provides for you? Remember, [Bottom Line] I can thank God for everything.
