Sunday mornings can go at a fast and furious pace. If we aren’t strategic, we can miss key relational connections. Gather your team of volunteers for a brief gathering before the serving begins. Answer any questions about the curriculum and ask for prayer requests. Then read the following devotion before praying for the day:
Think about some situations your preschoolers face that require them to be brave. Going to the doctor. Walking into a new classroom. Conquering the BIG slide at the playground. Riding a certain roller coaster that they’re finally big enough to ride. As an adult, you know that courage is required for more than doctor visits and theme parks. But even now, you can begin to help your preschoolers see that God can give them the courage they need to face whatever giant is in front of them. God can help you do brave things. He was present with David on the battlefield and He is present with us too. Who helps you do big things? [Bottom Line] God helps me do big things.
