Sunday mornings can go at a fast and furious pace. If we aren’t strategic, we can miss key relational connections. Gather your team of volunteers for a brief gathering before the serving begins. Answer any questions about the curriculum and ask for prayer requests. Then read the following devotion before praying for the day:
Five loaves and two fish. That’s all the disciples had available to feed a crowd of over 5000 people. The situation seemed impossible. But not for Jesus. He took that small lunch, prayed and multiplied it until everyone had eaten their fill, leaving twelve baskets of leftovers to boot. NOTHING is too hard for Jesus. He’s the one who went all the way to the cross and rose again three days later so that we could call him our friend, forever. Who can do anything? [Bottom Line] Jesus can do anything.
