Sunday mornings can go at a fast and furious pace. If we aren’t strategic, we can miss key relational connections. Gather your team of volunteers for a brief gathering before the serving begins. Answer any questions about the curriculum and ask for prayer requests. Then read the following devotion before praying for the day:
We’ve all done things we aren’t proud of, things we wish we could go back and undo or completely forget. Even preschoolers understand when they’ve disobeyed or made the wrong choice. Zacchaeus certainly made some bad choices. And those choices alienated him from everyone around him. Still, Jesus sought him out. Jesus showed love to the guy everyone else had written off as hopeless. And that’s good news for us. Because Jesus doesn’t care what you’ve done. He cares about YOU. Let’s teach our little ones learn this week that even when you mess up, or disobey, Jesus loves you. Who does Jesus love? [Bottom Line] Jesus loves everyone.
