Sunday mornings can go at a fast and furious pace. If we aren’t strategic, we can miss key relational connections. Gather your team of volunteers for a brief gathering before the serving begins. Answer any questions about the curriculum and ask for prayer requests. Then read the following devotion before praying for the day:
Can’t you just picture the scene? An angry crowd. An embarrassed and terrified woman. And Jesus, the only righteous judge. Yet instead of standing with the crowd to condemn, Jesus stood with the woman. He extended love the one everyone had judged as guilty. Why? Because Jesus is a friend to the friendless. His love isn’t just for the popular or well liked. Jesus loves everyone. As you prepare to lead your preschoolers this week, watch out for the new children in your class, the ones others don’t seem to play with, the quiet ones. Let’s make sure ALL our littles understand that Jesus loves everyone, always.
