Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here. The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest. Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word. These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality. These posts should start going out on Sunday, October 27, 2019. This is considered week four of the October curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.
Facebook and Twitter:
Sunday: Hezekiah could be brave because he knew God is powerful. Watch the video on the App https://bit.ly/2ijFJc6
Monday: Go outside. Ask your child to name the things you point to (tree, sun, animal, your child–all the things God made). Talk about how God is so powerful, He made everything. And that’s why we can be BRAVE! God is powerful, and He is always with us!
Tuesday: When someone understands the principle of honor, it changes the way they treat everyone : https://theparentcue.org/honor-who-we-are-not-what-we-do/
Wednesday: Add superhero toys to bath time. While you bathe your child, ask them to name the toys and talk about what they did that was super brave or strong. Talk about how we can be brave super kids too, because God is always with us. .
Thursday: With the holidays around the corner, now’s a good time to start cleaning out your closets and toys. Make it a contest to see who can get rid of the most stuff. Then, take it down to a local shelter or community center together.
Friday: Here’s a sneak peek at what your preschoolers will be learning in November: https://bit.ly/2LcSL5y
Saturday: Cuddle with your child and pray, “Dear God, no one is more powerful than You. Help us remember that You are always with us so we can be brave. We want to be brave enough to love people the way You do. You’re the best, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
