Social Media Plan for Reaching Parents Starting October 13, 2019

Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here.  The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest.  Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word.  These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality.  These posts should start going out on Sunday, October 13, 2019. This is considered week two of the October curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.

Facebook and Twitter:
Sunday: Gideon showed us in today’s Bible story that we can be brave because God knows everything. Watch the video on the App

Monday: Gather three cups and a small rubber ball. Line the cups up on a table upside down. Place the ball under one cup. Move the cups around and then ask your child, “Do you know where the ball is?” When you’re done playing, talk about God knows everything.

Tuesday: Pursuing strategic relationships for your kids takes intentionality but it can be easy as 1-2-3: acknowledging who’s already there, inviting other people in & encouraging them along the way.

Wednesday: As you drive, encourage your child to name the places he/she sees by saying, “God is with me at the gas station. God is with me at the grocery store. God is with me at the park.”

Thursday:  Who says you have to get out of the house to have a night out? Let your kids invite a few friends over for an in-home movie night. Set them up with popcorn and toppings as well as plenty comfy pillows and blankets. They may never want to go to the theater again.

Friday: Enjoy doing the memory verse hand motions at home with this video:

Saturday: Cuddle with your child and pray, “Dear God, no one is smarter than You. You know everything! We can totally trust what You say. Please help us to do what You say, because Your way is always best. We love You! In Jesus’ name, amen.”
