Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here. The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest. Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word. These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality. These posts should start going out on Sunday, November 3, 2019. This is considered week one of the November curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.
Facebook and Twitter:
Sunday: Today we learned through Boaz, Ruth, and Naomi how family can help one another. Watch the video on the App: https://bit.ly/2ijFJc6
Monday: Pour two different uncooked pasta noodles into a large bowl (ex: bowtie & macaroni). Tell your child to sort the pastas. Talk about how Boaz helped his family, Ruth and Naomi, by leaving wheat behind in the garden so Ruth could gather it for food.
Tuesday: How to Raise Obedient Kids for all the wrong reasons: https://theparentcue.org/how-to-raise-obedient-kids-for-all-the-wrong-reasons/
Wednesday: When you go into your child’s room this month, say, “Time to wake up! At the count of three, let’s tell God thank You for today. Here we go! One, two three! Thank You for today, God!”
Thursday: Create a rhythm of fun by instituting a family game night one night a week. Break out classics like Candyland or Chutes and Ladders, or play Simon Says. What are your preschooler’s favorite games?
Friday: Your child is learning the song “Just Wanna Thank You.” Download it so you can sing along at home! https://bit.ly/OK_AllGood
Saturday: Cuddle and pray, “Dear God, thank You for our family. Thank You for (name people in your family and how they help you/your child). We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
