Social Media Plan for Reaching Parents Starting March 31

Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here.  The following information will be 6 tweets, 3 Facebook posts,  2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest.  Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word.  These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality.  These posts should start going out on Monday, March 31st.  If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.

  • Monday:  In this week’s lesson, Jesus teaches us how to pray. You can watch the video about it here with your child: https://bit.ly/1lgzaA0
  • Wednesday: As you bathe your child, thank God for the water, a soft towel, soap & shampoo, his toes, his eyes, bath toys—the list could go on forever!
  • Friday: Look around the room or outside with your child & talk about how you can talk to God about what you see. Apple = when we’re hungry, etc.
  • Saturday: During CuddleTime, remember, you can never pray and thank God too many times for giving us our AMAZING forever friend – Jesus!

  •  Monday:  This week’s Bible story is from Matthew 6:5-11.  Jesus teaches us how to pray. You can watch the video about it here with your child: https://bit.ly/1lgzaA0
  • Friday: Grab a beach towel, a piece of fruit, sock, small picture of the world (or just draw a green and blue earth on a piece of paper), Band-Aid bandage and heart pillow or drawing of a red heart. Lay all of the items on the floor and identify them with your child. Cover the items with the towel, reach under and remove one item. Uncover the items and ask your child to guess which one is missing. When your child guesses, talk about how you can talk to God when you’re . . . fruit/hungry, sock/need clothes, world/tell God how amazing He is or heart/say I’m sorry when I’ve done something wrong. Now it’s your child’s turn to remove an item. Replace the one you took and let your child cover and remove this time. Make sure you talk about each item you remove it and how you can talk to God.
