Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here. The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest. Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word. These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality. These posts should start going out on Sunday, March 29, 2020. This is considered week five of the March curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.
Facebook and Twitter:
Sunday: Today we learned that the way we show the world that we follow Jesus is by loving people the way Jesus loves us. Watch the video on the App http://bit.ly/2ijFJc6
Monday: Go outside and play chase with your child. When the person chasing catches the person running, they will give that person a super big hug and say, “I love you!” Talk about how when we follow Jesus we can love everyone.
Tuesday: Helping a child with anxiety is a challenge. Download our Preschool Anxiety Conversation Guide to help. https://bit.ly/33eSacg
Wednesday: Ask your child to say the memory verse with you! “‘Come and follow me,’ Jesus said.” Matthew 4:19, NIrV
Thursday: Split 12 pairs of balled socks between family members. Place a stuffed animal a distance away from the family. Each person tosses their socks to FOLLOW the stuffed animal. Whomever is closes gets to move the animal to a new location. Do it again!
Friday: Here’s a sneak peek at what your preschoolers will be learning in April: http://bit.ly/2S0qmV3
Saturday: Cuddle and pray, “Dear God, we want to follow Jesus and love people like He loves us, but sometimes we don’t want to be kind or forgive. Help us love people like Jesus, even when we don’t feel like it. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
