The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest. Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word. These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality. These posts should start going out on Sunday, June 28, 2020. This is considered week four of the June curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.
Facebook and Twitter:
Sunday: Peter tells everyone, everywhere that Jesus is alive, He loves them, and He wants to be their friend forever. Watch the video on the App http://bit.ly/2ijFJc6
Monday: Get out Play Doh, a rolling pin, and gingerbread cookie cutters. Show your child how to roll the Play Doh flat and make Play Doh people with the cookie cutters. Talk about how Jesus loves all people, no matter what they look like or where they live.
Wednesday: As you bathe your child, ask them about things they can do. “Who can wash their tummy? Who can wiggle their toes? Who can clap their hands?” Continue asking questions, as long as your child is having fun. End with, “Who can believe in Jesus?”
Thursday: Have fun creating cards for friends to tell them Jesus loves them! https://ididityoudoit.blogspot.com/2020/03/cards-for-friends.html
Friday: Ask your child to say the memory verse with you! “These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.” John 20:31, NLV
Saturday: Cuddle with your child this month and pray, “Dear God, You sent Jesus to love everyone. Help us to love everyone like Jesus does and tell them that Jesus is alive and He wants to be their friend forever. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
