Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word. These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality. These posts should start going out on Sunday, July 5, 2020. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.
Facebook and Twitter:
Sunday: Today, we learned that Jesus loved Peter even after Peter denied knowing Him and that Jesus will always love us, too. Watch the video on the App http://bit.ly/2ijFJc6
Monday: Place several of an item (dry beans, toy cars, etc.) on a table. Show your child how to sort them into groups of three. When they are done, talk about how Peter told people three times that he wasn’t Jesus’ friend, but Jesus loved Peter anyway.
Wednesday: When you go into your child’s room, say, “Good morning! (Hold them at the window.) I see a tree God made. I see a flower God made. I see (look at your child) a person God made. God made you and loves you SO much!” (Give your child a hug.)
Thursday: Scoop hearts out of water while talking about how Jesus loves us, no matter what! https://ididityoudoit.blogspot.com/2020/04/heart-scoop.html
Friday: Your child is learning the song “I Spy.” Download it so you can sing along at home! bit.ly/FL_Focus
Saturday: Cuddle and pray, “Dear God, thank You for sending Jesus to love us, no matter what. Jesus is the best friend we could ever, EVER have! And You, God, are so good and loving to give Him to us. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
