Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here. The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest. Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word. These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality. These posts should start going out on Sunday, February 9, 2020. This is considered week two of the February curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.
Facebook and Twitter:
Sunday: Jesus showed us in today’s story that we should love people, even if they have made wrong choices. Watch the video on the App http://bit.ly/2ijFJc6o
Monday: Play Candy Land or Chutes and Ladders. Tell your child the goal is to climb the colorful path or the ladder. After you play, talk about how Zacchaeus climbed a tree so he could see Jesus. Jesus loved Zacchaeus and taught him how to love others.
Tuesday: If you really want to get to know your family, spend a greater quantity of quality time together. Learn about who they are becoming. https://theparentcue.org/getting-to-know-them-all-over-again/
Wednesday: As you drive, look for people. Talk about the “everyone” Jesus loves. Does Jesus love that construction worker? Yes! Does Jesus love that lady in the red car? Yes! Does Jesus love that police officer? Yes! Jesus loves everyone!
Thursday:Choose a few random acts of kindness and spread positivity and joy around your community as a family one day this week. link to: https://theparentcue.org/resources/kindness-family-challenge/
Friday: Enjoy doing the memory verse hand motions at home with this video: https://vimeo.com/373922764\
Saturday: Cuddle and pray, “Dear God, thank You for sending Jesus to show us the best way to live. We know His way is best, but sometimes we make wrong choices and do things our way. Thank You for loving us, no matter what. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
