Social Media Plan for Reaching Parents Starting February 16, 2020

Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here. The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest.  Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word.  These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality.  These posts should start going out on Sunday, February 16, 2020. This is considered week three of the February curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.

Facebook and Twitter:
Sunday: Today’s Bible story was about a time when Jesus was kind to a woman who had made bad choices, while others were being mean to her. Watch the video on the App

Monday: Buy clearance valentines. Think of people who did not get a valentine (neighbors, grandparents, etc.). Encourage your child to love them with a valentine. Talk about how Jesus loved a woman in the Bible, when no one else did.

Tuesday:  Though family circumstances may be less than ideal, our potential to display something big—for the sake of our kids—is not diminished.

Wednesday: As you drive, encourage your child to name someone each time you say, “Jesus loves . . .” Ex: Jesus loves [sibling’s name]. Jesus loves [friend’s name]. Jesus loves [grandparent]. End by saying together, “Jesus loves everyone!”

Thursday:  “Always be kinder than you feel.” Unknown

Friday: Don’t miss this month’s podcast to help parents do family better! Listen to Parent Cue Live!

Saturday: Cuddle and pray, “Dear God, thank You that Jesus loves everyone. He loves me and [child’s name] and (name family, friends, people in community, etc.). Help us love everyone the way Jesus loves everyone. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
