Social Media Plan for Reaching Parents Starting December 8, 2019

Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here. The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest.  Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word.  These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality.  These posts should start going out on Sunday, December 8, 2019. This is considered week two of the December curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.

Sunday:Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem where Jesus was born. Watch the video on the App

Monday: Grab a toy doctor kit and baby dolls. It’s time to play baby hospital! As you feed, wash, and dress the babies, talk about how there were no rooms when baby Jesus was born. Mary wrapped Him carefully and found a manger with soft hay to lay Him in.

Tuesday: Traditions are important because they provide opportunities to keep your family legacy going. From the simple to the sentimental, traditions can create meaningful memories.

Wednesday: Tell your child to look for star decorations while you drive. Many store fronts and city organizations like to decorate for the holidays. Play a game where every time you see a star, everyone has to say, “God gave us Jesus!”

Thursday: So how do you stay connected when life gets so busy during the holidays?

Friday: Enjoy doing the memory verse hand motions at home with this video:

Saturday: Cuddle and pray, “Dear God, Christmas is so special, not because of the presents or the decorations but because it’s when we celebrate Jesus’ birthday! Thank You for giving us Jesus to be our friend forever. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
