Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here. The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest.  Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word.  These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality.  These posts should start going out on Sunday, April 5, 2020. This is considered week one of the April curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.

Facebook and Twitter:
Sunday: Today we learned about the first Palm Sunday and that it is a special day about celebrating Jesus. Watch the video on the App

Monday: Take a walk outside with your family and everyone pick a leaf or small branch. Have your own Palm Sunday parade in your yard. Wave your branches and say, “Hosanna! Hosanna! Yay, Jesus!”

Wednesday: When you go into your child’s room, say, “Good morning, friend! I’m so glad God gave you to me to be my son/daughter and my friend. God gave us Jesus to be our friend, too!”

Thursday:  Celebrate Palm Sunday one more time while making an awesome craft.

Friday: Your child is learning the song “He’s Alive Oh Yeah.” Download it so you can sing along at home! child is learning the song “Follow On.” Download it so you can sing along at home!

Saturday: Cuddle with your child this month and pray, “Dear God, Jesus is special because He is your Son. We want to celebrate Jesus every day because Jesus is alive and He is the best friend ever! We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
