Sunday mornings are like game day for children’s ministry. Just like any good coach, gather your team of volunteers for a pre-game pep talk. Answer any questions about the curriculum and ask for prayer requests. Then read the following devotion to kick the morning off:
While kids may not have all that much, chances are they still have SOME money they’re responsible for. One of the best things we adults can do right now is to teach our kids how to manage their little now so that they can be trusted with much more later on. Placing their money into three buckets – give, save, spend – is a great place to start. And the order is important too! When we receive any amount of money, we give some first, some next and then spend the rest on the thing we want. A big part of stewardship is thinking about how to use your money wisely.
