Sunday mornings are like game day for children’s ministry. Just like any good coach, gather your team of volunteers for a pre-game pep talk. Answer any questions about the curriculum and ask for prayer requests. Then read the following devotion to kick the morning off:
Forgiveness is a tall order. When someone hurts us, the last thing we feel like doing is offering forgiveness. But Hebrews 12:14 says to “try your best to live in peace with everyone.” All we have to do is try. Make the first move. [Bottom Line] Take the first step to forgive others. When you choose to try, to take the first step, you’ll be moving in the right direction. And pretty soon, forgiveness will follow.
