Sunday mornings can go at a fast and furious pace. If we aren’t strategic, we can miss key relational connections. Gather your team of volunteers for a brief gathering before the serving begins. Answer any questions about the curriculum and ask for prayer requests. Then read the following devotion before praying for the day:
Sometimes when we face an impossible situation, one that seems hopeless or scary, we tend to forget that we can tap into God’s power just like King Hezekiah did. Though an angry army was approaching, Hezekiah still did what he could do by preparing his people for battle and then he also trusted God to do what only He could do. When we face something that seems impossible, we need to remember that our responsibility is simply to do the next right thing and trust God with the rest. He can give us everything we need to face whatever comes our way because of His mighty power. Who can help you be brave? [Bottom Line] God can help me be brave.
