The Trip to Orange – Step 2

The Trip to Orange – Step 2

You gathered information, shared it with your travel-team, decided that you are definitely traveling to Orange. What’s the next step? There are many places to go, sites to see, fun to experience in Orange. For this leg of your journey, you want to concentrate on Preschool land. That means that you will concentrate on Babies, Toddlers, 2 to 5-year olds and their parents.

To prepare for outstanding excitement in Preschool land, also known as First Look in Orange lingo, take a few minutes to watch the First Look Intro Video. It will introduce you to beautiful blue skies, bright sunshine, and the friendly critters of First Look. More importantly, you will discover that there are 3 Basic Truths that you will see over and over again in First Look: God Made Me, God Loves Me, and Jesus Wants to Be My Friend Forever. First Look offers the first chance to make a lasting impression about a heavenly Father.

Want more details before you travel? The best way to “know before you go” is to request a sneak peak at First Look. You can sign-up for a free trial by contacting your personal travel agent – your very own Orange Specialist. Your Orange Specialist will be there to guide you each step of the way.

At this point in your preparation (at least 3 months in advance), start considering the people you want to have with you when you arrive in Orange – your volunteers. It’s time to recruit and share your journey, let them know where you are going – and WHY they’re going there. We’ve given you some tools for introducing these folks to Orange (The Orange Strategy Video, the First Look Intro Video, Think Orange). When you sign-up for your free trial, you will have even more resources at your fingertips on the Training Matrix included with the monthly curriculum materials. Need more? See the additional Travel Guides.*

This is also the time to look around your environment. What do you want it to look like when you arrive at YOUR Orange destination? Do you want to tweak physical spaces? Paint? Include graphics? Create a welcoming space for your preschoolers and their parents? Think about that now. It takes time.

Next step, prepare your entire preschool team for the arrival at their Orange destination, First Look!
