Social Media Plan for Reaching Parents Starting September 16, 2018

Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here.  The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest.  Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word.  These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality.  These posts should start going out on Sunday, September 16, 2018. This is considered week four of the September curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.

Sunday: Today’s Bible story was about how sometimes we have to wait on God’s promises, like Abraham and Sarah did. Watch the video on the App http://bit.ly/2ijFJc6

Monday: Place one of your child’s fav candies on a table. Set a timer for 1 min. Tell your child he can have the candy when the timer goes off. Increase the time every time you play. Talk about how sometimes we have to wait, but God always keeps His promises.

Tuesday:  Kids are always changing, which makes the job of getting to know your kid never ends. Here are 21 questions you can ask your kid to get to know them in the phase they are in now. https://wp.me/p5ijhZ-58y

Wednesday: As you drive, ask your child to say the memory verse with you! “Trust the Lord with all your heart,” Proverbs 3:5, NCV

Thursday:  How well do you know your kid in the phase they are in now? Take a few minutes this week and play a game of 21 get-to-know-you questions and see how many new things you learn!

Friday: Don’t miss this month’s podcast to help parents do family better! Listen to Parent Cue Live! http://theparentcue.org/parentcuelive/

Saturday: Cuddle with your child and pray, “Dear God, thank You for giving [child’s name] to me. I love being his mommy/daddy. But as much as I love him, I know you love him even more! Your love for us is SO big! We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
