Social Media Plan for Reaching Parents Starting March 31, 2019

Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here.  The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest.  Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word.  These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality.  These posts should start going out on Sunday, March 31, 2019. This is considered week five of the March curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.

Facebook and Twitter:
Sunday: Today we learned that respecting others means treating them the way we want to be treated. Watch the video on the App

Monday: Make a circle on the floor with tape. Step in the circle. Tell your child to step in and tickle you. When you say, “Please stop tickling me,” your child must stop and step out. Take turns. Talk about how stopping and stepping out shows respect.

Tuesday: Here are four ways to show your kids that there’s a wider circle of people around them that is bigger than the people in your house:

Wednesday: Ask your child to say the memory verse with you! “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139:14.

Thursday:  It takes effort and intentionality to invite others into the life of your family. Take the first step this week to reach out to someone you want to invest in your child’s life.

Friday: Here’s a sneak peek at what your preschoolers will be learning in April:

Saturday: Cuddle and pray, “Dear God, thank You for teaching us that every person is special because You made them. Please help us remember that You made every person and that’s why we should treat them with respect. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
