Social Media Plan for Reaching Parents Starting March 3, 2019

Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here.  The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest.  Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word.  These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality.  These posts should start going out on Sunday, March 3, 2019. This is considered week one of the March curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.

Facebook and Twitter:
Sunday: Today we learned that every person is wonderfully made by God. Watch the video on the App http://bit.ly/2ijFJc6

Monday: Pull out the Play-Doh® and make something wonderful – PEOPLE! As you roll the body parts, talk about how God made our legs, arms, body, face, and so on. God made all of us! And that makes us wonderful!

Tuesday: Your role, as it relates to guiding your kid toward sexual integrity, will continually redefine itself through each phase of your child’s life. www.theparentcue.org/helping-preschoolers-understand-how-god-made-them

Wednesday: When you go into your child’s room this month, say, “Good morning! I see someone God made. It’s you! (Point to child.) God made you! And I am SO glad He did!”

Thursday: It’s never too early to start a conversation about sexual integrity, but it will never be simpler than it is right now. Start with the basics: “God made your cute nose.” Affirm a positive view of their body: “I love watching you grow.”

Friday: Your child is learning the song “More Than Anything.” Download it so you can sing along at home! http://bit.ly/HHHooray

Saturday: Cuddle with your child and pray, “Dear God, thank You for making [child’s name]. He/she is so special. I love the way You made his/her sweet smile and (name things unique to your child). We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
