Social Media Plan for Reaching Parents Starting July 9, 2018

Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here.  The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest.  Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word.  These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality.  These posts should start going out on Monday, July 9, 2018. This is considered week one of the July curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.

Facebook and Twitter:
Monday: In yesterday’s lesson, we learned that every person is wonderfully made by God. Watch the story on the Parent Cue app. http://bit.ly/2ijFJc6

Tuesday: Bringing faith to life in our home is a great privilege. I’m encouraged that we don’t have to have a perfect life. Our role is to simply teach them what we already know & to continue learning & sharing more day by day as we grow http://bit.ly/1KLXRLP

Wednesday: As you drive, insert the places you pass along the way into this question, “Is God’s Word with you at the [grocery store]?” Encourage your child to say, “Yes, God’s Word is with me wherever I go!”

Thursday: Challenge yourself to read a blog each day this month. Choose blogs that grow your faith, your parenting, or your role as a spouse.

Friday: Sit with your child and make people with Play-Doh®. Roll the arms and legs, shape the body and head. Don’t forget the eyes, nose, and mouth! Talk about how God made people while you play. That makes people very special!

Saturday:  Enjoy doing the memory verse hand motions at home with this video: https://vimeo.com/263555494

Sunday: Cuddle up with your child this month and pray, “Dear God, thank You for making [child’s name]. He/she is so wonderful. I love [specific things you love about your child]. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
