Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here. The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest. Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word. These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality. These posts should start going out on Monday, July 16, 2018. This is considered week three of the July curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.
Facebook and Twitter:
Monday: This week, we learned that God loves us all the time. You can watch the video on the Parent Cue app: http://bit.ly/2ijFJc6
Tuesday: Our life, our very soul, has to be filled up in order to pour out. If I were to keep driving my car way past empty, my car would stall. Are you putting in more than you’re giving out? https://wp.me/p5ijhZ-4MQ
Wednesday: As you drive, sing to the tune of “The Wheels on the Bus Go ‘Round and ‘Round.” “The wheels on the car go ’round and ’round, ’round and ’round, ’round and ’round. The wheels on the car go ’round and round. God’s with me wherever I go.”
Thursday: What is something you will do this summer to grow yourself personally? Share one of your goals with us. #MakeItPersonal
Friday: Play a game with where you say what time it is and your child does an action that goes with the time. Ex: “It’s time to cook.” Your child pretends to cook. “It’s time to sleep.” Your child pretends to sleep. Talk about how God loves us ALL the time.
Saturday: Don’t miss this month’s Parent Cue Live podcast! http://theparentcue.org/parent-link-live/
Sunday: Cuddle up with your child this month and pray, “Dear God, thank You for loving us so much You gave us your Son, Jesus, to be our friend forever. I pray [child’s name] will never forget how much [he/she] is loved by You. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
