Social Media Plan for Reaching Parents Starting January 2nd

Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here.  The following information will be 6 tweets, 5 Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest.  Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word.  These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality.  These posts should start going out on Monday, January 2nd. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.

  • Monday: In this week’s lesson, Jesus heals a blind man, showing that He has the power to help. http://bit.ly/2fuXaTI

  • Wednesday: At BathTime ask your child,“Do you have everything you need?” Remind your child that our friend Jesus is always there when we need Him.
  • Thursday: Parent Cue: Make a resolution to say good-bye to something in your life that is weighing you down and getting in the way of what matters most to you – your family.
  • Friday: At PlayTime take turns tossing a ball into a basket. Let your child try with closed eyes. Talk about the blind man that needed Jesus’ help.
  • Saturday: This month let your child wake up to, “Good morning! It’s time to make it a great day with our good friend Jesus!”

  • Thursday: Parent Cue: Make a resolution to say good-bye to something in your life that is weighing you down and getting in the way of what matters most to you – your family. Clear family space of extra clutter, let go of a time or financial commitment or finally defeat a habit. Write what you’re going to drop on a piece of paper and throw it away. Bye-bye overload! Hello family!
