Social Media Plan for Reaching Parents Starting February 19, 2018

Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here.  The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest.  Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word.  These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality.  These posts should start going out on Monday, February 19, 2018. This is considered week three of the February curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.

Twitter and Facebook Posts:
Monday: This week we learned that Jesus saved a woman from being hurt and forgave her of the wrong she has done. You can watch the video on the Parent Cue app: http://bit.ly/2ijFJc6

Tuesday:  How to help kids learn to be kind to others: http://wp.me/p5ijhZ-3lj

Wednesday:  As you drive say, “Zacchaeus climbed a tree so he could see Jesus. Jesus loved him no matter what. Let’s look for trees and count them.”

Thursday: You already do so much for your kids, but go the extra mile this week and show some extra underserved kindness – Maybe help them pick up their toys, read the second book at bedtime, and speak kind, encouraging words.

Friday:  Play a game of “I Spy” with your child. Talk about how Jesus looked for people to love because Jesus loves everyone.

Saturday: Don’t miss this month’s Parent Cue Live podcast! http://theparentcue.org/parent-link-live/

Sunday: Cuddle up with your child and pray, “Dear God, help [child’s name] and me to love everyone the way Jesus loves everyone. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
