Social Media Plan for Reaching Parents Starting December 1, 2019

Here is the First Look Social Media Plan for influencing parents to interact with their preschoolers. If you missed the first post explaining our plan, please click here. The following information will be 7 tweets/Facebook posts, 2 pictures or ideas for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest.  Feel free to use any and all of this information but don’t feel tied to these updates word for word.  These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality.  These posts should start going out on Sunday, December 1, 2019. This is considered week one of the December curriculum. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people could use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post.

Sunday: Today we learned how God told Mary He would give us Jesus. Watch the video on the App http://bit.ly/2ijFJc6

Monday: Roll out Play-Doh® with your child. Use angel cookie cutters to make angels. Count the angels. Identify the colors of Play-Doh. Talk about how God sent an angel to tell Mary she was going to have a special baby. What was the baby’s name? JESUS!

Tuesday: Despite all that may be working against us, we have the opportunity to set the tone in a season that was intended to remind us of how involved our God is—at all times. https://theparentcue.org/joy-in-the-chaos/

Wednesday: When you go into your child’s room this month, say, “Good morning! Who can tell me why this is the best time of the year?” Tickle your child. “It’s Christmas—the time when we celebrate Jesus’ birthday!”

Thursday: The holiday season can add stress to every family. Sneak some time to listen to this podcast on Enjoying Your Marriage During the Holidays. https://theparentcue.org/episode95/

Friday: Your child is learning the song “What Chistmas Is All About.” Download it so you can sing along at home! https://apple.co/347ueHD

Saturday: Cuddle with your child and pray, “Dear God, I pray [child’s name] and I will listen and trust You the way Mary did. We can always trust Your plans for us because You love us. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
