People are God’s works of art. He is our maker. And, He has a plan for each of us. Every neighbor. Every preschooler. Every parent. God has a plan for all of us, because He made us and loves us.
We want to teach our preschoolers this month that God has a plan for them. Imagine how much better the lives of our preschoolers and, well, all of us could be if we lived like God has a plan for us, and that God’s plan is always best. We would be the complete Works of Art that God created us to be.
The Welcome Center and Hallway
Each and every one of your volunteers and preschoolers are a work of art. Why not use a wall or bulletin board to let them know. Fill the space with pictures of them mounted on paint splatters with a banner saying “You are a WORK of ART.” Hang paint brushes from the ceiling. Use the environment art to line the halls with fun painting imagery.
Cover your welcome center tables with paint splattered drop cloths (Won’t those be fun to make!), and encourage your welcome volunteers to wear painter’s aprons. Attach watercolor brushes to your pens to add character to the table.

Your stage will need multiple types of art supplies. An easel would add a great touch along with caddies of art supplies and even some over-sized paint brushes and paper.
