We can’t think of a better time to teach preschoolers about how much Jesus loves them than February—the month of love! And how much does Jesus love preschoolers? Well, the same as He loves you and me—A LOT! In fact, there is nothing wider or longer or higher or deeper than the love Jesus has for you and the preschoolers in your life.
This month, our goal is for preschoolers to know Jesus loves them, and that nothing will ever change that. To do that, we’ve planned some super fun, hands-on-activities and are ready to tell amazing Bible stories in ways that will engage young minds.
We also have some colorful, little friends joining us…LOVE BUGS!
The Welcome Center & Hallway
It’s the month of love! That means filling your environment with hearts and streamers of red, pink, white, and purple. Don’t forget to scatter our amazing Love Bugs throughout your space. You can find printables of these special bugs in your Environment Art file.
Cover your welcome center tables with a red or pink tablecloth. You can add some heart garland for a pop of fun. Fill some clear jars with fun, fake bugs and use those to hold your pens. They’re sure to start some great conversations at check-in.
Visit the February 2019 Love Bugs board on Pinterest for more ideas on decorating your environments!
Continue the heart and bug fun on your stage. Heart garland draped on the wall behind the Storyteller will let preschoolers know that this month is all about love. Scatter some of our fun Love Bug printables around the area. And, add fun, bug hunting supplies for the Host to use.
