In just days our world will explode with hearts! Well, actually, I don’t know about yours, but mine pretty much already has. Everywhere you turn, there are hearts! That can only mean one thing!!
IT’S ALMOST VALENTINE’S DAY!
I know. I know. I’m really excited too. Valentine’s day means chocolate… and truffles… and oh, I digress.
Valentine’s day means love. We all know that. And, what better day to show your volunteers you love them than Valentine’s Day!!
And, this year, February 14th falls on a Sunday. So, you need to be prepared.
There are so many things you could do to show your volunteers how much you love them.
- Have a special breakfast for them.
- Send them a card to arrive the Saturday before.
- Have parents write “Love Notes” to them the week before and decorate the door with them so your volunteers see them when they walk in.
- Give them a bucket of love.
Did you catch that last one… a bucket of love. Goes with the theme. Pretty cool, right? We thought so. We even created an awesome printable tag for you to attach to your bucket of love.
So, hit the dollar store or the Target Dollar spot and pick up some buckets (did you know plastic cups can work as buckets) and something to put in them. I’m thinking candy, but then that’s just me.
Enjoy your free printable and be sure to share what you do with it over on our First Look Partners page.
We can’t wait to see it!
