When it comes to gratitude, there’s one thing that can kill it every time. The root of the ingratitude is comparison. The workers in this parable were comparing the amount of time they’d put in to those hired later. But comparison is pointless. It’s better to be satisfied and grateful for what you DO have. So when it comes to gratitude, we have work hard to avoid the comparison trap and adjust our attitudes.
