Sunday mornings are like game day for children’s ministry. Just like any good coach, gather your team of volunteers for a pre-game pep talk. Answer any questions about the curriculum and ask for prayer requests. Then read the following devotion to kick the morning off:
We talk a lot with our kids about treating others the way they would want to be treated. But when it comes to forgiveness, there’s an even higher standard. Jesus came, suffered on the cross and rose again so that we could be forgiven. So when someone hurts you and then asks for forgiveness, God wants you to treat him the way HE would. Since God forgave you, you should forgive others.
