Sunday mornings are like game day for children’s ministry. Just like any good coach, gather your team of volunteers for a pre-game pep talk. Answer any questions about the curriculum and ask for prayer requests. Then read the following devotion to kick the morning off:
All month long, we’re talking about how we are uniquely and wonderfully made. But that individuality has a purpose. God wants each of us to make our own mark on the world He’s created. And the kids in your group don’t need to wait till they’re older. They can start making a difference where they are RIGHT now. Making a difference might mean extending kindness or help to someone who needs it. Making a difference might look like doing the right thing even when no one else is watching. Making a difference could be standing up for what is right or calling out an injustice. Ask God to help you share this important truth with them this week: [Bottom Line] God made me to make a difference.
