Social Media Package starting Nov. 26th

Social Media Package starting Nov. 26th

Here is the Social Media Plan for influencing parents to have offline conversations with their kids. If you missed the first post explaining what that is then click here. The following information will be 6 tweets, 3 Facebook posts with 2 Facebook Timeline photos, 2 pictures for Instagram, and 2 articles to pin on Pinterest. Feel free to use any and all of this information but also don’t feel tied to these updates word for word. These are simply examples that you could copy and paste if you wanted or you can add your own personality. These posts should start going out on Monday November 26th and follow this social media plan. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even content that other people can use to help influence parents for this week then please leave your comments below the post. We hope this really helps.

  • Thursday:Start a new tradition: family storytelling. Instead of putting one person on the spot to come up with a really great mind-blowing story from nothing, everyone sit down and tell the story one piece at a time! For example, I might start with “Once upon a time in Italy there lived a little girl.” And my dad tells the next sentence. Like, “This little girl was a very special little girl because she had something no one else had.” Then the story goes to my mom, and all around the room until, together, we have come up with a story we could have never thought of on our own!

So this week, gather your family and even a few friends together to tell a story one sentence at a time. You’ll be surprised the kind of stuff you can come up with when you all work together!

  1. Love it! Excited to begin this stuff on a consistent basis! Praying it makes a difference for parents and helps support them during the week is connecting with their kiddos!! Love the way we will get to extend what we are already working so hard on Sundays.

  2. How do we get the instagram photos to post? Are those just example ones or is there a way to use them?

    • Thanks for asking, Mike. From your mobile device, touch the pic and a prompt to “Save Image” will come up. Save it to your Photos. then open Instagram and load the image into your account.
